Cancelled Class Application
Tuesday, 02 February 2010 20:56
The eStudio group developed a new application that helps get the word out quickly on cancelled classes. Dean’s assistants and key administrative staff have access to a web application that centralizes this information for the school. By entering the cancelled class information on the web site, it creates an RSS feed that gets instantly published many places:
Digital signage screens in the campus hallways
SCC’s home page (just follow the link that reads “Cancelled Classes” on the left)
D2L on the first screen that is displayed after logging in.
Highlighted above indicates how to access the information on the home page and D2L.

The Start of a Beautiful Fanship

Did you know that there are thousands of South Central College students and alumni using Facebook to connect with friends and family? On Facebook, individuals are represented by Facebook Profiles, which can contain whatever information, photos, and videos an individual chooses to display. When individuals on Facebook become “friends”, their profiles are linked together and the social networking begins.
